How Materialism Posing as Mysticism Limits Consciousness and Subverts Spirituality

The law of attraction is a wildly-popular modern mystical belief hyped as the secret to fulfilling your every desire. It has big celebrity endorsements, and commercial products rehashing its claims sell in abundance. But beneath the glossy facade there’s often an agenda pushing egocentrism and greed in metaphysical garb, which limits consciousness and subverts spirituality for shallow materialistic ends.

  1. This is a really interesting and important article. It seems like nowadays spiritual ideas and interests are so often being intermingled with material ones. Someone once said ‘you can’t sit on two chairs at the same time’ and I think that’s really relevant in this situation – it seems it’s not possible to try and become rich and have everything you desire and also progress internally – like the two are mutually exclusive.

  2. Great article! yes I think, maybe, we can take good things in the law of attraction but we have to learn more and more information about the universal knowledge of what is life and death, because effectively the law of attraction is not enough to explain the deep of the world. It’s evident that is one part of an all.

  3. Thanks Admin, Great article at The Conscious Reporter.
