Share

This fortnight, host Jenny Haase interviews investigative journalist Matthew Butler on the Total View show about his article Web of Deceit: The Bilderberg Group and Elite Powerbrokers Linked to the UK’s Stealth Internet Censorship Coup. It reveals the critical details, connections, and players involved in the agenda against freedom of thought and communication on the internet, which has disturbing consequences already manifesting against websites of alternative spiritual information and beliefs. If you thought it could never happen in the “free world”, the infrastructure has already been put in place in the UK with other western countries to follow suit. 1. Patricia A. says:

Excellent interview and great depth of information on the influences of various Bilderberg Group members on the development/implementation of the UK internet censorship system. It’s pretty evident that this is not isolated problem in the UK but one that can potentially spread to other free Western countries. In Canada you can already see the influence that it has: MPs have already expressed their interest in implementing a similar policy under the guise of child pornography and Huawei has its Canadian headquarters conveniently situated in Ottawa.

I agree that the biggest problem with this is getting people to be interested in it and understanding the serious implications it may have on fundamental rights and freedoms, especially that of religious beliefs and expression.

  2. Being from Britain, this whole issue pains me to see – though I know it is not that Britian is particularly awful, that they are not acting alone really – this is really just setting the tone for something that could sweep the West.
The thing that does worry me is that most of the people I talk to in the UK have little or no knowledge, understanding or even interest in this matter. The sad thing is that this can happen because people are so passive or unable/unwilling to see the severity of the situation.

  3. Excellent interview!

I thought the point brought up about how these politicians asked for feedback from the public regarding whether anyone wanted the internet filters, and then not only disregarded when the majority surveyed said “no”, but went on to present the web filters in the media as something that everyone was begging for is just shocking.

This shows how much vigilance is needed, to keep shining light on what is truly going on behind the scenes, especially if we want to keep our access to esoteric and spiritual websites. The more people that become aware that spiritual choice and human rights are getting trampled, the better. I think this video provides a great synopsis of the issue, easy to understand and share.

    • Yeah I agree. At first it was really shocking when I came across things/tactics like this (the asking for feedback then ignoring it and saying the opposite), but it seems to be happening more and more. Definitely important then to keep exposing it and hopefully eventually more and more people will see what’s happening and do something about it!

  4. Great interview. Thanks for getting this info out there.

Almost everyone wants to protect children from the dangers that can lurk on the internet, but this appears to be just an excuse to hoodwink a naive public into thinking they we are being protected and looked after.

It hardly seems “family friendly”, however, to ban access to spirituality and religion. So, clearly there is another agenda. There appears to be many connections between the New World Order and the Bilderberg Group. Their goal appears to be to have New World Order, with one government and one religion (the worship of Gaia, or planet Earth).

It is frightening to see how much power this group has and how wide their reach is. I knew that many world leaders were attendees/members, but wasn’t aware that Rupert Murdoch was, But then, of course he would be – there is probably no easier way to manipulate people than through the mainstream media. Unfortunately Murdoch is trying to spread his web even wider in recent days.

  5. I found this video really helped to break down the issues with this web filtering and the sinister side of it with all the sneaky tricks to implement it and the potential for abuse by a totalitarian regime. What I found most shocking is that their excuse for bringing it in is redundant since there are already filtering measures in place to block porn. Thanks to Total View for the interview and to Matthew for the good explanations about it all and helping to expose it for what it is.

The idea of boycotting ISP’s that support it sounds like a good one, I will have to check what filtering if any my ISP does.

  6. Boycotting, the solution?! Since when has boycotting actually worked? Can’t we think of an esoteric solution to this problem? And can’t we stop with the intellectual jargon such as ‘boycot’ and ‘transparency’? “The tyranny of the majority” makes boycotting not a realistic solution.

    • Hi Lance,

In my humble opinion I feel that an esoteric solution to this problem is to peacefully defend our Sacred Knowledge. This could be done by informing others, write to our MP, and being active with other groups with a common goal.

It’s also my opinion that a passive approach will only allow them to succeed.

  7. Thanks you guys for getting this information out there, its sad that on the surface these ideas seem like a good idea yet scamming the general public unaware of what is really happening.

It is sad that it seems in a way these people are always trying control and manipulate the masses

  8. Thanks for this guys, a very informative interview based on a very indepth article!

I am amazed at how big the web of deceit in regards to this issue really is. Looking at the issue on the surface it’s impossible to see the hidden mechanisms behind it unless you really delve deeper as you have, and then it’s pretty shocking to see what’s going on and the hypocrisy of those involved.

The suggestion of boycotting ISPs who support this. There is at least one ISP who has refused to go along with the agenda, so hopefully there will be more who follow suit!

  9. It’s obvious to me that these systems will spread worldwide and that the purpose is to completely eradicate all esoteric materials and practices. What a terrible abuse of our human rights in a free country.

They have full control of main stream media and therefore it’s not brain surgery to work out that the internet is definitely a target. Today it’s esoteric materials which is a serious disaster for humanity, but what else are they aiming for tomorrow. To me it’s very clear and the evidence is all over the planet, they want total control all humanity and form a one world order.

I find that it’s crucial to stand up and boycott any wrong actions of our governments and today we really need to save esoteric materials and practices.

Thanks Jenny and Matthew, excellent video.

    • Indeed john.

I have found that GCHQ has a program called “Astral Projection” which is described as “Remote GSM secure covert internet proxy using Tor hidden services”. (Which indicates that GCHQ is using Tor to hide its trail on its activities).

      https://firstlook.org/theintercept/document/2014/07/14/jtrig-tools-techniques/

This is one such program that deliberately uses a naming scheme that is not objectionable to the wider community. eg “Nut Allergy”, “Wind Farm”, “Excalibur” and “GodFather” to list a few.

Having seen in the astral what the NSA looks like, it’s pretty clear that ‘striving for the common good’ is not an agenda of theirs, but would rather poison everything that is caught in its web of fear.

  10. What an excellent and informative interview. Thank you for exposing the issues so clearly!

I knew things were bad, but seeing the extent was shocking. I didn’t realize just how much wifi and cellular phone networks were censored already; it really would just be a small step to take this to all of the internet, all over the world…

I also want to look more into the Bilderberg Group. Hearing about who is involved and their secret meetings gives me the creeps. I wonder what they are up to.

  11. Yes, definitely thank you very much Matthew and Jenny for this informative and yet clear and easily understandable video on such a complex topic! There definitely is something going on in a “fishy” way as you pointed out and it is very hard for a common person to notice, yet alone to understand the whole depth and complexity of it.

I also noticed that it seems the UK is taking a lead today in all the censorship issue, and wondered why would that be… Seeing how many politicians are members of the Bilderberg group and how everything is tied up really makes sense, the only question after seeing all this is – what’s the purpose? It definitely looks like they are preparing the way for a totality of sorts on so many levels , restricting the access of people to the free information, spirituality, with even web forums being blocked, etc., but what for? I hope that public (or at least most of it) will wake up sooner than all this is in place. Thank you also for pointing out what the most simple and effective action for a person would be – simply boycott the ISPs that are operating the filters. It is also very inspiring to hear that there ARE people who are watching (like that journalist you mentioned) and that the public opinion is against these filters, despite what the governments are presenting.

  12. Thanks so much for highlighting this issue once again. It really is important to keep an eye out for things like this, as they are subtly creeping into our daily life on a regular basis. So many policies we are influenced by are passed against our interest and our human rights, and if we don’t stay on top we just seem to end up under more and more laws and regulations that can easily stifle our freedom of thought, speech, and our fundamental right as humans to hold and share our own opinions and beliefs.

I have heard and spoken to many people who have been affected by these blocks by independent ISPs who voluntarily opted into the filtering, people from all over the world, and the sites they tried to access of course had absolutely nothing to do with child pornography or anything “unsavory” (unless the government considers content pointing out its back door policies unsavory, that is). In fact, I believe one person wrote on another article here that they tried to access Conscious Reporter (the site that published the article exposing the agenda behind this very policy) on a public WiFi network and were blocked from doing so. You can quickly see what the repercussions of these policies are from this example alone…
