A Spiritual Wedding Ceremony – New Article

When we got married some time ago, we wanted a ceremony that was more in tune with our own spirituality, but at the same time was something that anyone could feel relaxed attending. Ours was held outdoors in a standing stone circle in a grove, which was encased within a large, open pyramid structure.

This marriage ceremony is based on some of the sacred texts of esoteric Christianity and Jesus’ own words, which included secret and hidden references to alchemy and spiritual marriage. We’ve included the meaning of the symbols used throughout the ceremony, which include the grail, red wine, bell, lit candles etc.

Very inspiring ceremony. Thanks for sharing it with us.

It really conveys the sacredness of your union and sends a message of how beautiful and sacred is any union between a couple that loves each other.

I really like that you included universal elements as well as spiritual readings from the Gospel of Philip. They are very inspiring.

All the best to both of you.

What a beautiful and incredible marriage ceremony. It leaves such a powerful impression on the sacred bond between a couple which can withstand anything. So inspiring and beautiful. I have always loved weddings, and it seems here is a chance to finally give credit to why this bond is such a profound one.

We also had a cermony around a sacred circle, we didn’t know where to start so we used the veddic wedding as a base and then added our own symbolism and spiritual readings. It was really incredible, and gave great hommage to the journey of love between a couple and their work together. There were mantras and we walked around a fire and exchanged different symbolic items. It is so worthwhile to have a sacred wedding ceremony and I got so much from it.

Thank you for giving a glimpse of your beautiful wedding, I wish you both much love and happiness in your lives and spiritual work together. You are both a great inspiration and I only wish the very best of joy in your lives.
