A Biography of Belsebuub

A biography website about Mark Pritchard (Belsebuub) has been created, which chronicles the events of his life and his incredible and unique spiritual journey.

Starting with his psychic experiences and poltergeist visitations in his childhood, the biography describes how he searched for spirituality and had mystical experiences.

This led him to abandon his desires for a material life in order to dedicate himself to exploring spiritual truths within himself, and from there he took a spiritual path leading to his inner Being.

The biography is illustrated with photographs, documents, video, and audio.

The website is http://belsebuubbiography.com/

What an amazing biography, the struggle and hardship that Belsebuub went through makes my daily struggles look like nothing. I would also like to thank my close friends John P and Chris Scott two wonderful people who have helped guide me as a true brotherhood does.

This account is like nothing else. In following Beslebuub’s teachings, trying to practice it in my life, I feel there’s a connection and a bit the ability to understand or get a sense of the things written about in the biography. It is deeply moving.
It is perhaps not in any one line or part, although they teach so much, but through the whole of it ‘underneath the surface’ it gets across the feel, the perfume, the inner character of his. A sort of perseverance because of a deep love. It’s hard to put those insights that come across of his inner character in between the lines, into words. I find some of the hardships almost ‘difficult’ to read about, especially when hearing more of the insides to events I’ve personally witnessed. At the same time through them there seems to be something secret and beautiful emerging in them for him.

The story ignites the eagerness to want to work. It touches something inside, and to an understanding somewhere within it engraves the right example. I kept this page close throughout last week.

I’m so thankful to Belsebuub for giving all the information which has changed my life and which continues to do so. And also for Belsebuub teaching in the astral, where by giving such a love that it changes you.

I hope everyone can do what is needed, to break through and go to the higher places within, and one day write their own story.

Thank you so much for the ongoing posts on Belsebuub’s biography.

The more that is written of what Mark went through, particularly surrounding the closure of his school, the more is revealed about how alone and rejected he was by everyone. I am left with so much sadness and remorse to have not been there for him, but also for not being there for the light in the world.

At the same time, I am so grateful to read and come to terms with the harsh realities and be able to re-evaluate my position during that time and reflect on the ”indifference” that was written in the latest article. (http://belsebuubbiography.com/teaching-in-the-gnostic-movement-part-2/)

I am still struggling to find my way where this total indifference will be no more, and also why it was there in the first place. I hope its possible to pull myself up from past mistakes and learn the ways of being a true & authentic supporter of the light, for society, and within my own life.

I can very much relate to what you said here Olga, there is a lot of pain in realising mistakes from the past, there is a lot to reflect on and so so sad that he was abandoned but the amazing thing is to know there is nothing but forgiveness and love that radiates in response.

      • Michael October 14, 2016 at 3:17 pm - Reply

That’s right David – the love and forgiveness that Belsebuub continued to show despite the vicious onslaught of sustained attacks is an incredible testimony to the supreme level of consciousness we each have the capacity to gain if we progress far enough with the inner work.

There are lots of so-called “inspirational writers” around, but Belsebuub’s honest and real life account of an ordinary guy who was driven by a longing to reunite with the divine is the most inspiring story I have ever come across, or am likely to read. It is a true blessing to be alive at a time when the information to achieve the full awakening is laid out in such a clear and detailed way and I hope that through it, many more of us will one day be able to pass on our own stories of reuniting with divinity.

So far Belsebuub’s biography is amazing and very inspiring to read. Although there are parts which bring back some very sad memories about the way Belsebuub and Angela were so badly treated.

The most recent story, which is called “Teaching in The Gnostic Movement part 2”, is a part unlike any other as it talks about such an incredible stage of the work for the awakening of Belsebuub, and truly this is magical to read. I don’t want to take away the magical part of Belsebuub’s story but I feel compelled to speak out about parts which relate to the harm and betrayal of Belsebuub. Of course, I can only speak about his physical side of the story and not his spiritual side.

My wife and I were very involved with The Gnostic Movement and with Belsebuub for many years. We were both members, and for some years I was the president, and my wife, Daya was the treasurer of the Australian Gnostic Movement. We were both right at the very forefront of all The Gnostic Movement matters and had almost, daily dealings with Belsebuub. Therefore we witnessed all the malicious lies and betrayals first hand which very quickly crippled The Gnostic Movement, and the lives of Belsebuub and Angela. Being a builder, I had the magical opportunity to be in charge of the building work, which is mentioned by Belsebuub. This was such an amazing vision for a monastery, but sadly it quickly also became another casualty and was crushed by the many lies about the property.

Unfortunately, during these difficult days we were very much out numbered by wicked people who had very advanced internet and writing skills. They knew exactly how to cause the most damage to Belsebuub’s life and The Gnostic Movement. The master minds of this terrible injustice were once Members and their intentions were to take over The Gnostic Movement. Since they were once members they had inside knowledge of the way we operated and very easily began to destroy everything we stood for, and the lives of Belsebuub and Angela.

Belsebuub managed to accomplish so much good for humanity and sadly it was all crushed by our lack of understanding.

Finally, in the name of Justice, We’d like to add that the most magical times of our lives have been working alongside Belsebuub who treated everyone equally and with the utmost respect. He is the most honest, and clearly the most admirable gentleman that we’ve ever met – I’m sure anyone who has been a true friend to Belsebuub will agree.

John, you have written in such a beautiful and heartfelt way – I really appreciate what you said.

I have enjoyed reading the latest addition to Belsebuub’s biography as well; I also felt a sense of sadness mixed with regret when reading it, especially as it describes a part of his life that many of us were not aware of. What was particularly hard to read was that he too struggled internally more so than I certainly would expect someone at such an advanced level would. But it goes to show that this work is incredibly difficult and can bring a person down the lowest and then raise them up to the heavens.

How terrible to be betrayed in such a manner by the very people that you allowed into your life, who you considered friends.

Although I only met Belsebuub personally a few times I can honestly say that he always made an impact on me. He was indeed a gentleman, a caring and wise friend who did all he could to guide and teach us to sacrifice our egos and work to create that which is eternal within us.

Thank you Belsebuub and Angela for bringing Belsebuub’s journey on this Path to us.

    • DavidP October 14, 2016 at 10:22 am - Reply

Very well said John and Daya, I’m glad you posted that and I can only whole heartedly agree.

I would add that Mark/Belsebuub is the most generous person I know considering his plans for a monastery and what he gave away to the Gnostics let alone his donating large sums to The Gnostic Movement whilst never receiving any profit from his books or teaching. Truly admirable as you say.

    • Michael October 14, 2016 at 1:29 pm - Reply

      Hi John,

I agree that Belsebuub’s biography is a huge inspiration, as it tells an incredible story of courage and overcoming huge obstacles in order to fight for the light within and in the world.

Thanks also for sharing your personal experience of your active involvement with The Gnostic Movement. I share the sadness you expressed regarding the unfortunate events that led to the demise of a profoundly valuable spiritual school. One thing that stood out for me is the spiritual strength that Belsebuub would have needed in order to face the level of adversity and hostility that he did, as is outlined in the section of the story you mentioned and in the previous part of it, and is described in more detail on the History of the Gnostic Movement site:

In the History of the Gnostic Movement article, the issue of bystander apathy also stood out to me. Like you, I also felt powerless at the time to take certain actions and I think all of us had our various reasons for not taking more decisive action sooner. I would say that the main issue wasn’t being outnumbered however, it was the lack of a united defence. Reading through Belsebuub’s story has really highlighted the need to go beyond our current skills set and comfort zone, in order to push ourselves to achieve things we didn’t know we were capable of.

If I look at my own circumstances at the time, I also didn’t have a high level of technical knowledge and had only an outdated PC at home, which lacked the capacity to run some commonly used software. I also lacked legal knowledge or the ability to contribute in a better way financially towards legal action being taken, due to being unemployed at the time. And although I had personally met two of the instigators of the attacks, I didn’t feel I knew enough about the workings of The Gnostic Movement, as I was never a teacher or a member.

Looking back now though, I can see there are many things I could have done differently. For example, I still had internet access at home where I could have learnt more about creating my own blog in defence of Belsebuub. Alternatively, although the instigators cleverly used servers in countries that were not under the jurisdiction of hate crime laws, I could have gone about gathering evidence to bring justice to those contributors who did live within countries that upheld anti-discrimination laws. I also had access to public computers where I could have used various software that my own PC couldn’t run. And although I gave testimonies or participated in commenting on some of the larger defence sites, I can see now that there were many more opportunities to be involved as a united community that I let pass.

I remember seeing a video as part of a fire safety training program at work a few years ago, which reminds me of how devastating the effects of bystander apathy can be. The gist of the video was that a couple of young lads flicked a lit match onto some newspapers in a corner shop in order to create a distraction so they could steal sweets. People were queuing in a shop and saw the fire developing, but didn’t act. New customers came into the shop and saw what was now a pile of burning papers but patiently joined the queue without alerting the shopkeeper. Eventually the shopkeeper was informed and just managed to get to safety moments before the whole shop burnt down.

Unfortunately, I see strong parallels between that example and the events that led to the close of The Gnostic Movement. Although many of us may like to think of ourselves as being non-conformists who think outside the box, as human animals we still have a strong tendency to follow the crowd and look towards someone in higher authority to act first.

Fortunately though, as we have been discussing in relation to the recent video on karma, there is a lot of learning that goes with suffering and experiencing first-hand the consequences of our actions. It is a pity that so many who were interested in the teachings were unable to withstand the stirring up of various inner states during the time of the attacks, but I feel now that among those of us who remained, many have gained a renewed strength to do the work and a knowledge of what is required to do it, which is the silver lining to the cloud.

        Hello Michael,

Thanks for putting up the link of The history of the Gnostic Movement. A close friend of mine had also recently brought to my attention.
To be honest I felt a quite disappointed for missed it in the first place, but I only have myself to blame.

So far, it’s so accurately documented and exactly the way I remember it. The personal experiences in the link below were great to read and very encouraging to write my own.

Well done to everyone involved on that site, you’ve really done a fantastic job. I find that it’s so important to stand up and be heard.

          Hi John,

I agree it’s an excellent site, which gives a very accurate account of the history of an outstanding esoteric school – The Gnostic Movement. It also bears testimony to the tremendous efforts that were put in by Belsebuub and others who supported him in his goal.to spread the teachings of light to the world. The personal testimonies from participants are also touching to read and show what a profound and beneficial effect these wonderful teachings are able to have upon people’s lives.

Having come across my uncle’s (John P) comment, I would like to write about some of the damage which was caused to my family by those who were out to destroy The Gnostic Movement and Belsebuub’s life.

As a child I remember my uncle John talking to me about the astral plane and the spiritual world. This all began not long after my parents had separated and my mother who is John’s sister asked him to teach me to be a Gnostic. At this stage, our family did not have any issues with the Gnostic teachings. John began to teach me, and at times this would also include my brother and sister. We really enjoyed the astral and mantra practices and the good values that he was teaching us about life. Sadly, one day my father asked my uncle to stop teaching me until I was old enough this way I could have a chance to make my own decisions. My mum didn’t want my uncle to stop but my uncle said that it was best to respect my father’s wishers and he never spoke to me about Gnostic values again.
Without the guidance of my uncle I wasn’t doing well at all while growing up, and for many years my life spiraled out of control.

At some point a few years ago, I began to hear some really bad rumours about The Gnostic Movements and Belsebuub, and these rumours spread to all of our extended family, and very soon our family turned against John this included myself. In these days I believed the lies/rumours to be true and frankly I didn’t respect my uncle. At the time, someone had contacted our family and guided them to this nonsense which was all over the internet. This person was very well informed on all the lies including the defenses which John and his wife Daya were very involved in for many years. This information continued to cause many problems for John from our family and especially for his children from his previous marriage.

Luckily for me, about 3 years ago I started sole searching and I began to have some spiritual experiences which guided me back to the guidance of my uncle. At this point, I was asking lots of questions about Belsebuub and the history of The Gnostic Movement and John began to tell me the truth from his experiences He explained that the people spreading these lies/rumours had previously contacted the family and friends of many students, teachers and members and they manage to damage the happiness of many families and their lies even caused married people to break up. He continued to explain that the biggest casualty were Angela and Belsebuub’s lives and The Gnostic Movement which had to be closed down.

His information really resonated with me and I began to seek his daily guidance about the teachings of Belsebuub, unlike his early approach to the teachings of Belsebuub, he told me to do my own practices and he didn’t focus on the astral at all, instead he guided me to self knowledge and advise me to try hard to connect with my divine Mother, after a period of time he shared his knowledge to remove egos. From the very beginning he help me understand that all information related to the Path could be discovered on the Belsebuub and the recommended sites.
Although he shared his experiences about the teaching he always encourage me to seek my own proof through true experiences which he said would come if I really lived the teachings in daily life. This approach really resonated with me.

To be honest at the beginning I began to realise that these poisonous lies fed to me and my family still had some effects, and I found traces of these egos while watching Belsebuub’s videos. Anyway, i continued to listen to my uncle’s advice and the teachings of Belsebuub did the rest.
Through belsebuubs teachings i was guided to work hard on the self knowledge. After a few months of working on the egos during daily life and fighting for awareness, i had a life changing week.
One night i had an experience and woke up in a dream with Belsebuub standing there in my house and although I’d never met Belsebuub in person it looked the same as in his videos. A few nights later I had another experience and I was in a classroom situation and although I couldn’t see Belsebuub I knew without a doubt that it was the presence of Belsebuub. I had a deep understanding from these experiences and it has given me the will to fight for the inner work.

Although the damage from these people was deep within our family and extended family, I’ve manage to defend these lies and somehow they’ve stopped believing these lies and they now respect our choices in life. Although there are still issues for John’s kids.

I’d like to add that I’ve discovered nothing but goodness from these teachings and I yearn to go deeper towards the Light.

I also was very happy to read the information in the link below which was very helpful and I hope that the story of my account can be added to that site with my full name included.

I am very grateful for all the unconditional love from belsebuub to humanity and i hope that my actions can show this from now on.

        Hi Chris,

Thanks so much for sharing this honest and heartfelt account of your experience of practicing Belsebuub’s teachings. I’m very glad that despite the terrible damage that occurred within your family as a result of the lies and deception of others, you were able to see through the tangled web and find the truth. I also know of others whose personal lives were badly affected by the irresponsible and malicious actions of these online bullies.

I think your current situation shows the strength of the essence shining through, as it could have been so easy to drift away into the mundane life, having had such a long gap between your childhood learning of the spiritual work and coming back to it as an adult, particularly as so many who were in the teachings for many years drifted away once things started to be stirred up.

It’s wonderful that your uncle John was able to guide you a child and then again as an adult. In general, among the hundreds of people I saw come and go when I was part of study centres and groups, I found it’s very rare that people take up these teachings with any level of seriousness, as they require such commitment and dedication in order to make them work. I can also think of only a handful of cases where members of the same family have shown interest and continued commitment to practicing the teachings in the longer term. With this in mind, I’m sure you must feel blessed to have had John in your life. It also makes me wonder if maybe you knew each other in past lives and were placed together in this one, in order to continue with the spiritual work.

Thanks again and I wish you a lot of strength in continuing your spiritual journey.

Thanks for sharing your personal story Chris.

Lies in this spiritual/religious field seem to really be able to incite very strong reactions in people, feeling something very close to them being threatened perhaps?, facing that in personal circles seems like a very tough thing to go through.
I’m very glad you managed to persevere and ‘follow your heart’ as they. Wishing you all the best.

I like your story and for me it reminds me a bit of the article Be free to express yourself spiritually, which is quite eye opening along with something else I once read related to the right to stand up for oneself.

It’s probably a bit too long explain fully, but there’s this very sneaky mindset that can be present without even realising it (for me at least) of feeling different to society and people. This mindset can make you think that you are the one ‘at fault’ or whatever, or have something to hide. Even though you know it’s not the case, but it’s just a fear, an imagined reaction from a society that wouldn’t understand.
When the lies and harassment happened and it was later countered by arguments stating the truth of things I thought that was a good idea. Personally though the thought hadn’t even crossed my mind to take legal actions because there was this subtle mindset that establishments and society wouldn’t understand esoteric things and therefore it wouldn’t work. And it seems the perpetrators took advantage of this, projecting the notion that “society was on their side.”
But anyway the flaw in this mindset has bcome a lot more clear. And also it’s good to remember that even if society and most people don’t understand esoteric things, and regardless of the view or importance this particular society might place on it, that doesn’t actually at all change the true and pure and spiritual nature of these teachings and its profound importance.

I find the historyofthegnosticmovement.com website extremely well put together btw, putting the whole of the what and why of TGM out there in such a well researched and clear way. That page you linked to is very usefull and educational in it’s own right for example.

The destruction that smear campaign caused against families of those involved in TGM, and most definitely for these teachings in the world and to Mark and Angela, is really frightening.

Much light and strength to you in your work!

This biography is so very inspiring and it really gives me a drive to work a lot harder, after reading what Mark had to go through it makes my little excuses for not doing the work seem so insignificant

Reading some of these passages make me feel very disappointed of the lack of defence from my part during the attacks, at the time it seemed quite confusing as to what was really happening due to my lack of understanding.

I also was lucky enough to spend time at Marks house helping with the building, as John mentioned, and the benefits that were gained were huge and I would not change that for nothing. It was always a real pleasure when visiting Mark you could always feel the warmth radiate from him and you always felt very welcome. The generosity that you have shown is 2nd to none. It comes from a inner sadness that the idea of the monastery never materialised as it would have been a very special place in this world : (

I for one and probably speak for many am so glad that you did not walk away from the teachings, even though you probably would have been in your rights to do so how everybody had treated you and the extreme sacrifices that you have gone through, and I sincerely from the pit of my heart thank you for all you have done and continue to do and I wish from now that your health is ok and living conditions have improved significantly

      THANK YOU !!!

Thank you very much Belsebuub for creating the website with your biography. I’ve just finished reading and listening to it, and have received a tremendous boost from it. I found it very inspiring and received many valuable reminders and insights.

I remember listening to the audios from your biography during the Sunday talks you gave a few years back, and I got a lot from listening to them at the time. It’s been extremely valuable to revisit them recently, and it’s allowed me to see things from a deeper perspective. And it has helped me to gain a better understanding of some of the things that have stopped me from progressing with the inner work.

You mentioned how the people passing through the toll booths on the way to the abyss came out as animals, and how they loved the vibrations of the egos. And I’ve found myself reflecting on just how many areas there are in my life where I make excuses for things I still like on some level; which I’ve come to realise are actually a disturbance of some kind; but I’ve never made the efforts to really investigate them and eliminate them.

And the points you made about everything in this world being in time, and being destroyed by time, helped me to look at the attachments that I have, and the material aspirations I’ve maintained, and just realise how futile and foolish that has been.

It obviously takes a monumental amount of work to make real progress. And I’ve realised how easy it is to make things harder for yourself by trying to eliminate some egos with one hand while feeding some with the other; not even really wanting to acknowledge that they are egos. Sounds stupid, I know, but it makes me realise how powerful the forces of darkness are that we carry within and how dangerous it is to take them lightly.

I’ve found myself quite a few times recently remembering some words from The Flight Of The Feathered Serpent concerning living in “the eternal now”: “preoccupied neither with triumph nor defeat, nor uneasy about his earthly end.“

Thank you so much for all the tireless and immensely valuable work you, and also Angela, do to spread these teachings. God only knows how much the world needs it.

    To Belsebuub & Team,
Thanks very much for putting this together. I’ve enjoyed it thoroughly so far and gained quite a refreshed perspective of Mark (and his teaching). One of the most important being, Mark was just like everyone else here, living a normal life, going to college, playing sports, looking for meaning etc.. but his consciousness kept him searching until he found what he had been looking for. I smiled through much of it and it’s given me strength of a few different levels.

    Peace & Gratitude.

Something very special happened. There in childhood, in his search later, and of course when finding and properly taking up the esoteric work.

And it’s quite special to be able to tag along for a reading of this journey, one so full of lessons!

Thank you for this valuable resource! It’s wonderful to deepen my understanding of Mark’s life, mostly to be reminded of the intensity of his practice and his devotion to exploring spirituality. I’m also intrigued about the significance of his blood type – I suppose everything about us has its own deeper meaning.

I hope this website helps those who weren’t able to partake in the Gnostic Movement to find their own feeling for Mark as a unique spiritual teacher.

These days, reading Mark’s biography, I remembered something from the past that made me smile, helping me to realize and reflect again on his Huge Effort for awakening and the legacy of his Work.

It was during the old movement, Master Rabolu was asked once about Gnosis and he affirmed that one day Gnosis is going to reach this entire planet and will be spread everywhere. But we were thinking and discussing between us, how could it possibly happen? There weren’t so many teachers there, around the word, I mean, and especially to some continents like North America, Africa or Asia, so, how people could probably take these teachings?

It was proved later that the time was a good ally of the technology and the technology had a very good captain for that voyage in every corner of this world… ”From 2000 it taught the Gnosticism of Samael Aun Weor along with three free courses designed by Mark in 2001, which later became the basis for three books, A Course in Astral Travel and Dreams (2003), The Peace of the Spirit Within (2005), and Secret Knowledge, Hidden Wisdom (2007).The courses were attended by around 90,000 people in over 100 countries. Its online courses that ran on the website Mysticweb.org were the most popular of their kind at the time, and organizations with the same name soon started in the United States, Canada, the UK, and Greece…” And I am grateful for that.

That is so true Marina! Internet is indeed a wonderful tool in spreading these teachings all around the world. But the Darkness has found a tool to try to hinder it – diluting the teachings through plagiarized content and like this, blocking and blurring people’s access to this wonderful knowledge. As many has said here before, I also feel like now is the time for all of us to return back what we have received freely, and get behind the efforts to stop the plagiarizers of Belsebuub’s works and make these teachings known to wider audience in a proper way.

This is really great. It’s very interesting to read Mark’s biography. For me, it helps to reflect, to be more realistic and opened, seeing the hard work, the steps and the life of a person who really dedicates himself on the esoteric work and becomes a spiritual teacher. It’s so wonderful to read this story, gives hope, a strong boost to review a lot of things and the chance to take the work more serious.
Looking forward to read and study it more and to see more content to be added.

Thank you deeply Mark and Angela for sharing Mark’s true life inspiring story and for creating and sharing this inspiring website.

Although it is made clear that anyone willing to do the work can make progress, one thing I don’t understand is how despite stating that Mark had an ordinary upbringing and childhood, it does feel disheartening to see that Mark has a very rare blood type — Rh-negative — something which even his older sister before him could not survive, in addition to the various paranormal experiences Mark had at such a young age.

I found his story very inspiring but it did give the impression that a big component in Mark being able to come so far in his spiritual journey is because he was born heavily predisposed to faculties that many of us do not have. I have an ordinary blood type and in my childhood and earlier teens, I hardly had any extra-sensory abilities or a rare gene unlike my best friend who regularly had paranormal experiences I longed to have myself. I remember longing to go beyond the mundane and find out the truth, but here was my close friend experiencing far more than I ever could.

Perhaps what I’m trying to say is that I feel unsure about starting the path upon seeing a few times that those who are more advanced spiritually actually had several out-of-the-ordinary occurrences that seemingly revolved around them and their lives. I do want to make it clear though that yes, I understand that psychic abilities do not correlate with being spiritually awake, it does give the impression that those who did have above-average experiences and genetic traits have an advantage over those who don’t.

      Hi Mimi

Mark’s story is invaluable and incredible to learn about and helps me a great deal to be inspired and see things from a perspective that is real, tangible and helpful.

I don’t think its got to with the faculties alone, at the end of the day we have to face our egos and that is not easy for anyone but still do-able by reaching out and asking for divine help.

It is very difficult to compare ourselves with others because some people have more or less to overcome on some level but more or less on another level. It’s not that someone has an advantage over another person, because there is alot that isn’t seen like karma and dharma, past life spiritual efforts or set backs etc, and then there’s the passivity we face inwardly which alone is something that needs constant action to overcome.

What I do know for myself, through my own efforts is that a comparative way of thinking stops me from seeing and perceiving my own strengths and weakness. When I do see what is in my own ball court it helps me to put a plan of action together using my strengths to help me overcome my weaknesses.

None of us need to be disheartened, in fact when we look at the opportunities we do have and the help that is open to us, our own problem is that we don’t seize those opportunities, and instead our ego states take over our vision of reality and things slide in their favour.

Its easy to create a lot of ideas and mindsets around the spiritual work, and it becomes a trap that can be hard to get rid off. The more that we can tune into our own personal work, then we can easily put away the comparison chart that blocks us from learning. And then we can shift into a mode of studying ourselves. The more we do that then the more we embrace the work at hand, and that’s how we can take it up and move forward in the spiritual work. Then all the opportunities appear, and it all feels like magic 🙂

I don’t mean to come across as though I have the spiritual work in hand, or that its some kind of breeze

I just wanted to share that when I’ve put my focus on what I don’t have, or think I don’t have, or even think that I should have, then I miss seeing what I do actually have and the potential of achieving the things that are within my reach.

      Hi Mimi,

Although I also sometimes feel like you, it is also true (and Belsebuub pointed this out many times), that many of us have a rich past behind us (from many previous lifetimes and ages), that can only be uncovered when doing this work. As I imagine it, if we work hard, then at some point the things we have earned in the past become activated, and only then we will be able to see what hidden treasures are within us. So, I would not worry too much about not having paranormal experiences as a child. You may have had other things that you didn’t even pay attention to, because you didn’t know they were a sign of something spiritual within. For example even the yearning for spiritual is a quality not everyone has, then also some sort of understanding of things that is different from mainstream and that you haven’t read about anywhere, etc… If you just search within, you may find a couple of these little clues, and with the proper spiritual work, as I guess, more become unveiled.

Wishing you a lot of strength and keep inspired!

      Hello Mimi,

I can`t speak for Mark, and if possible I am interested to receive more clarification about the blood types. What is the relation between our blood types and our spiritual capacities?

In regards to your question Mimi, from my understanding, everyone is truly equal only on the highest level – when being one “with” God, being one “in” God.

In the physical realm, however, as we can see, nobody is truly equal, but I strongly believe in the laws of Cause and Effect, Rebirth, and Balance/Justice. So if people have more of spiritual capacities than others, it means that they have deserved them with a previous hard work. From another hand, having more capacities means harder trials to endure, a bigger responsibility to carry, less connection with the things of the physical world, more attractiveness to be attacked by the dark forces, etc.

Ultimately, in objective sense, everything is fair, everything is balanced, when seen from a bigger/deeper perspective.

And in this Work, we strive to achieve the enlightenment not only for ourselves, but for all sentient beings. So if someone gets to awakening faster than others, then they try to help others to get there too…

If you like to read books and have not read these ones, perhaps you might be interested to check “The Red Lion: The Elixir of Eternal Life” by Maria Szepes and “A Dweller on Two Planets or The Dividing of the Way” by Phylos the Thibetan. From the impression which I got, both of these books appear to have certain contradictions with the teachings presented on this website, but overall, they are very inspiring and have a lot of esoteric depth. Both of these books show in a very interesting way how the spiritual work is slowly carried from one life into another.

We gradually polish ourselves, by trying hard to work well, with whatever is available to us here now.

      Hey Mimi :),

      Just a few points.

In my opinion it’s not about blood-type, hair colour, place of birth, who our ancestors were and what name they carried, nor even about whether we had psychic experiences during childhood. To me it’s about the revolutionary push we feel burning within and what we do with it.

Isn’t that what many hero stories tell that inspire people even today? The underdog who is not special, but feels that something indefinable within, a mysterious force, who works extremely hard to overcome obstacles, refusing to ever give up, who step by step and through the very struggle of the process becomes the ‘Hero’. Who eventually comes to discover the specialness of his personal true lineage.

Not to stray too far off and get back to the point. Unlike trying to achieve material goals in a material world, where we might feel like things are unfair and governed by chance and luck and such. Spiritual things are actually very just and not unfair. If we have access to the right techniques any efforts we make have their result, the same goes for the effects of efforts/choices we have made in the past.

So to me it’s more about the efforts we make (with the correct techniques), about applying the principle of the ‘churning of the milky ocean’ , the struggle, and in this way we can learn and grow, change and become stronger.

When looking at myself and I’m sure it’s the case for many others. It’s not that the spiritual yearning is not there- it is. It’s that we do not ‘go with it’, we allow ourselves to give in to the lower emotions, the pleasures, the habits, the sickly sleep. That yearning stays buried, unnourished. In this way we keep ourselves down. But this is our own choice and we are the ones responsible for it.

      Hi Mimi,

My understanding is that the rare blood group was just a point of interest and doesn’t in itself give a person any particular advantage in doing this work, or have any particular spiritual significance. The way I took it was that despite numerous obstacles in Mark’s family background, he was still able to push forward and do the spiritual work fully, which is a great inspiration. For example, his grandfather could have easily been killed at any time while fighting during the whole of World War 1 and Mark was himself lucky to survive, given the unfortunate circumstances of his sister’s death.

Other significant issues affecting Mark’s parents included poverty, bereavement, serious illness and possible malnutrition, as a consequence of domestic violence. As Mark himself says towards the start of the first talk, he wasn’t born into a life of riches or favourable circumstances, as going through difficulties can have the effect of pushing us to search for a way out:

“There’s a reason for that suffering and that hardship and I have to say that despite all the poverty and difficulty that I was born into, it was it was just right for me. It was the ideal setting. It was exactly what I needed”.

So I think the rare blood type only has the same significance as other points of interest, such as Mark’s aptitude for swimming. For example, although there is a certain discipline created by swimming competitively, it wouldn’t in itself give any advantage to the spiritual work, as the type of discipline required to succeed in it is much greater and of a different type.

Although Mark mentions in this series of talks that he had psychic experiences as a child, it is also pointed out that there’s no particular advantage in having psychic faculties in isolation, as they in themselves don’t lead to the awakening. In the Childhood Paranormal Experiences section, it is mentioned:

“Mark considers that developing psychic faculties alone is a waste of time however, as he says that whilst those faculties facilitate the perception of other dimensions, they don’t actually transform a person. Instead, he believes, it’s what a person does with their life in the context of their spiritual awakening that is more important.”

I would highly recommend listening to the talks on Mark’s story, if you haven’t already. I’ve heard them many times, but always get new inspiration and insight on each listen. It’s such an incredible story and journey, and yet is so down to Earth. Many aspects of the more everyday events strike a chord with me in relation to my own life and spiritual journey and I’m sure many of us will pick up on things that we can relate to in our own lives. For this reason, I find it a highly motivating story, as it shows us that we each have the potential to awaken, despite whatever difficulties and circumstances we may find ourselves in.

I wish you a lot of strength in your own spiritual search.

    Wow Mark,

You began teaching gnosis in 1990 and you taught me in late 1996 at Bondi Junction In Sydney.

When my lif hit rock bottom – and it did a few times – between 1996 and 2016 your words were the light in very dark places.

You taught me much about learning to see within and make the distinction between exoteric and the esoteric.. The most important of your lessons was to observe with my heart has allowed me to speak and commune with your spiritual being – Belsebuub, as well as the Christ. the Archangel Michael, my divine Mother and John the Baptist.

A Miraculous Event – a miracle happened 1 year ago, that is in late January 2015 . This is NOT the time and place to divulge this event which will affects ALL of us here. This spiritual event involves John the Baptist, as John made a series of prophesies of which all have come to fruition bar one. The last prophesy will come into effect in 12 years from now. I will divulge bits and pieces of John’s prophesy as time progresses … as I do have twelve years.

Mark, Thank You for teaching me the importance of learning inner peace. In the last few years have I learned to appreciate that you taught me for 18 months and at the time I did not realise that those 18 months was the most important events in my life. It was years later that I understood the adage “when the student is ready … the master will appear”.

Regarding the miraculous event you experienced, exactly where will you divulge that information? What you said sounds vague but pertinent, especially since you said it’ll affect everyone. I’m curious as to what you’re trying to say here but I’m not sure if you’re withholding it because you shouldn’t/can’t.

Thank you so much for this amazing website. It is very inspiring to see what Mark went through to reach such a level of spiritual development. it is interesting to see how many experiences he had as well as a child.
As he has often said, it takes a lot of work and many sacrifices in order in order to increase the consciousness and diminish the negativity that we are constantly swamped by,. It is really inspiring to see what he was willing to do in order to achieve this.

This really is such an inspiring website. I think it’s a real privilege to be able to read about the steps of the path from someone who’s actually walked it. With ‘Remembering the Gnostic Movement’ going up recently, I’ve been reflecting on my time when I first found the work. A huge part of what attracted me was this sense of someone having lived through the things he was talking about. That’s not something that can be faked with nice-sounding words, but I feel a lot of sadness for people who have come across that type of hollow spirituality and had nothing genuine to measure it against. I can see how a lot of sincere people can become lost through that.

Many thanks to everyone involved in creating the site, and especially to Mark for sharing details about his own journey. The site is an amazing resource for anyone looking to walk the path today.

To be honest Mark’s story is the most inspiring account I’ve ever read and it’s great to see it appear live again for people to read, and in an even more detailed way and on a dedicated website at that.

Thanks for your work on it Angela.

Similar to what David mentioned, the account really helps to show how the real spiritual progression can happen, and happens in our very life.

Thank you so much Angela for sharing this website. It is so needed and provides such powerful reading. I’m familiar with aspects of Mark’s story, but this really expands upon it in a unique and wonderful way. I had tears in my eyes reading some sections. It’s so touching to read the account of an ordinary guy, whose essence was longing to awaken, and who was prepared to do whatever it took to make that goal a reality.

It’s also wonderful to see the audios of Mark’s story up again. Out of all the talks, I have listened to those the most, along with the Nag Hammadi commentaries. And yet they always give more and more insight upon each new listen and such a boost to my daily life.

Thank you so much Mark for the showing us all that it is possible for all of us to follow your example and to make the real and genuine awakening our life’s focus in every sense. As you have often said, this work is for ordinary people, not caricatures of spiritual figures. Through your own experience, you have set the standard for us all to meet and shown that we each have the potential to awaken in reality, not simply as an idea, provided we are prepared to put in the efforts to achieve it.

I enjoyed you post especially upon your observation re; The Nag Hammadi texts.

Up until last year – 2015 – I took part in a Samael based group. The only reason I did was for discipline.

The teacher of this group divulged the fact that they were going to examine the Nag Hammadi texts. Simply put, they were going to emulate would Mark actually did. That is, add their fanatical interpretations of Samael’s works(s) to the Nag Hammadi library.

I heard that they ran into legal problems with the legal guardians of the Nag Hammadi library. Thank the universe they were stopped from their “interpretation” of the Nag Hammadi texts.

Micheal, you are right in saying that Mark teaches the “…this work for ordinary people, not caricatures of spiritual figures.”

Thank you everyone who has been working on this wonderful website. I have been reading it, it is such a source of inspiration and also direction. I like how the other material (articles, audios) is added to it, making it clearer when those events took place and how they relate to the overall spiritual path. I also like the new audio section for that matter, where Mark’s talks are also arranged according to the stage on the Path (https://belsebuub.com/audio/belsebuubs-story-in-audio).

Reading about the events of Mark’s life, one of the things that stood out for me was how he never took things for granted, and kept saying that he never knew if he will ever have another intitiation, another step on the mountain, etc. It shows the humility and seeing the reality for what it was that he had.

Having met Mark in person and knowing what a kind and wise person he is (and from reading his life-changing books), it’s easy to lose sight of the fact that he was once a normal person without all the knowledge and spiritual understanding he now has after many years of work.

Reading his story again and seeing all the pictures makes one realize that the spiritual work is really possible (always a good reminder!), it is open to everyone, and it takes place in life – not some make believe land in our heads.
