Recently i made a trip to egypt and seen the Sphinx in person, to say it is an amazing monument is an understatement!

Before i left for this trip i was studying the book “the path of the spiritual sun” written by Belsebuub and Angela Pritchard. In chapter nine this topic on decoding-the-sphinx-and-its-origins-as-anubis is explained in great detail.

I had seen many photos of the Sphinx and started to change my perspective on how i viewed it after receiving this new information, and to be honest it made sense intellectually.
But it wasn’t until i arrived to the Giza Plateau and had my first real impression of the Sphinx that there was no doubt it was originally a statue of Anubis! In all ways logical and in ways that i have no words for. Something i would have never understood from a photo.
I feel this a good example of how fortunate we are to have access to this knowledge. To be given the opportunity to see things in a new light and to make efforts to experience it, personally i would have not received the same impression of the Spinx without it…

Thankyou Belsebuub, Angela and everyone involved for the huge efforts you have made to make this knowledge available.

Thanks for sharing Chris… I also have had a chance sometime ago to visit the Sphinx at the Giza.

For me, it also made the perfect sense that it was designed as the Anubis, and not as the lion with a human head. Yes, when you are really close to the Sphinx, and when your mind is open to that possibility, you just see it this way, as a dog or a jackal. I tried to be as aware as I could, took my time to visualise it, etc. and it was clearly Anubis to me…Also, the Sphinx at Giza reminded me the stature of Anubis from the Tutankhamun tomb.

It is certainly great to have nowadays so many pictures and videos of the Sphinx available online, but as you know, they are just not the same as the direct experience… And I also felt gratitude to Belsebuub and Angela for kindly sharing with us their metaphysical insight and research. The work by Robert and Olivia Temple is certainly good, but seems to clearly lack that deeper spiritual vision…

What do we really know? Personally, one thing that really struck me at the Giza, was a clear understanding and amazement of how much we, as the humanity, are not aware of our sacred past and that the history that we are taught to believe in, is a big lie and manipulation. I really understood it there. I really felt like becoming anti-social, not as an angry teenager who can`t conform, but in the good sense of that word… And there was something deeply mystical for me at the Giza that no words can explain (can I call it The Power of God?), it deeply inspired me to keep going with my spiritual search and the inner work.

On the other hand, it is quite sad that things are not stable and secure in Egypt, and the whole situation in the Middle East keeps getting worse, and therefore many people interested in mysteries of the Sphinx, prefer to stay home and focus on watching/reading things, and so many are not even aware of the opportunities and the potential of astral explorations.

Thanks for another great article. I just finished this the other day and it was amazing not only to learn about how the Sphinx was originally carved and then altered, but also to learn about its deep significance.
It was also really nice to learn about the spiritual role of Anubis.

Ancient Egypt sure sounds like an amazing place. It is remarkable what they created, and they must have been extremely remarkable people. It’s a bit hard to imagine what it must have been like to live back then when today’s society is so devoid of a truly spiritual focus. It just shows how far we have fallen, but also what great potential there is when people work together in society for a spiritual goal with awakened consciousness.

    Great article.

I hope one day archeologists will be able to explore the chambers beneath the sphynx/anubis and see what is hidden there.

It’s a shame the egyptian government prevents the world from discovering our most ancient artifacts.

Wow! Thanks so much for sharing this. Thanks for teaching!

A group of us in my home town have been getting together going through Belsebuub’s Astral Travel and Dreams book week by week. All of us had experiences as a result. We set a goal to aim for Egypt together and a few days later this article came up! We haven’t made it yet but hopefully soon.

“As Jesus would say – don’t throw your pearls before swine lest they trample them underfoot. Not only does the knowledge get trampled upon, but also its practitioners when placed before uncomprehending people.”

This quote really struck a cord with me. I see it as relavent today as it was in ancient times. So much to investigate… thankyou again.

I wonder what it would have been like to live in the times when the Sphinx was built… Seems almost unimaginable when compared to the state humanity is in today. A while ago I watched some movies on sacred geometry, especially in the modern day. I was surprised to see it applied at all, and even more surprised that somehow despite having these amazing principles encoded into it, many of these modern day creations are very dim and insignificant compared to the magnitude of the extraordinary and inspiring messages encoded into the Necropolis. Perhaps it has to do more with an intellectual application of these principles, rather than a true spiritual understanding or something inspired for a greater spiritual purpose. Thanks very much for the article – it’s so inspiring.

I’ve always been really intrigued by all things “ancient Egypt”, including the site at Giza and the Sphinx in particular, and ever since the articles started popping up on this site about the solstices and equinoxes I’ve been reconsidering everything I thought I “knew” about this amazing place and time. It’s too bad certain theories are so readily and quickly accepted and widespread without deeper thought, reflection, and attempts at spiritual experience to get to the bottom of things. After having gone through most of this article so far, it gives me that impetus to investigate further with my own personal spiritual practice and at the same time, take part in the cosmic/spiritual message and meaning in life and throughout history.

Great read, thanks Belsebuub. It makes me really want to know more about the great builders of the Sphinx and the Great Pyramids.
I remember there was a good documentary on the Sphinx a while ago supporting your arguments that the Sphinx may in fact be a lot older than we have been led to believe (possibly 10,000+), and on the incorrect proportions of the current head to the elongated body.

Thanks for these steps in restoring and connecting this ancient sacred knowledge to today and explaining it in a way it can be understood.

“…the individual attainment of enlightenment, once the great goal of life and the focal point of ancient Egypt.”

I tried to imagine a society which has spirituality as its goal, I think it’s really so different from the world now that it’s quite hard to imagine what it would be like.

I think it’s great some researchers are trying to find out the truth themselves instead of following mainstream archaeology. But is also appears to me that without the Esoteric side very little can be understood.

It would be amazing to be there when everything was in its original state, and it also seems amazing to explore this place in other dimensions.

Thanks for this article, having this ancient knowledge lost would be an incredible waste.

Thank you very much for this amazing article! It makes me yearn to connect and know more about this powerful master, who not only administers our karma, but also helps us along the spiritual Path.
    I wish I could be in the Southern hemisphere now, to celebrate the resurrection and the role of Anubis in it. :-}

Reading this article has left me in awe with the wisdom of divinity and how spirituality is part of our every day life internally and externally in ways that I would never have imagined.

A great supplement to the How Enlightenment is the Process of Creation in the Universe in Reverse.
Very inspiring and at the same time eye opening in the sense that it raises awareness on these factors inside a person and in society that tend to twist and destroy anything truly spiritual.

I wish one day we manage to create similar sacred places aligned with the stars, the sun and true spirituality. They would probably be very small compared to ”Ro-Setawe” but still they would carry similar connection to Divinity inspiring us to connect with It internally as well.

Thank you for this very well researched article and your down to earth approach which makes it easy to understand and at the same time so inspiring.

I whole heatedly agree Christos, I think you said it so well.

    • Jenny November 16, 2012 at 8:45 pm - Reply

Yes, Christos very well said, you have expressed very well how I feel about this very impressive article.

It is seriously amazing how all this historic information and esoteric truths and principles have been brought together here to explain about the origins and purpose of this sacred site, in a way that to me, really no one has been able to do before.

The article also gave me more insight of what can be achieved by individuals who understand and practice esoteric and spiritual principles in and with their life, which has left me inspired!

Thank you Belsebuub and Angela for this really ground breaking article!

I am still reading through this, but I just wanted to thank you for another mind-opening article.. So much to yearn for, to uncover, to feel, to experience..

It gives such a boost to see glimpses of what can be achieved with a true commitment to the inner work.

    Thank you Belsebuub and Angela
