Another wonderful talk. I enjoyed Belsebuub’s explanation of the interviewer’s dreams too, and his really relaxed way of explaining things.
I can relate well to the exam dreams. Our dreams really can show us what we often deny or can’t see in our day to day lives. They provide such a rich source of information from which to observe, learn and change.
The journal is also very useful though for me, it’s important to write it straight away. Unfortunately, in a hurry to get to work, I sometimes think “I must write that down later” but later it is less clear, or sometimes even forgotten. Then a valuable lesson is sadly lost.
I remember before starting the path I used to get, since childhood dreams that I have not prepared at all for an exam and am terrified or that I am in the exam hall and not able to write a single letter on the paper. But after starting the path I started getting dreams of passing exams like a pro, even had a dream where it was a painting exam and whatever I drew (nature, forests, waterfall) came to life in the classroom in the midst of the teacher and other students. That was the best fairy tale like dream :-)
And after few years when entropy set in, I was having dreams of taking exams without fear but not as happily as before and getting stuck to answer some questions, thinking.
That’s very nice Golden Hummingbird – I think important think is to pass those exams. I can relate to the painting class, and wonder what that means too. The power of concentrated imagination? What you said about your creations coming to life sounds beautiful, I imagine that’s how Beings create in the higher worlds, by imagining something and then it comes to life, like in the Astral Plane.
Really nice set of Q&A in this interview. Especially about the part of sitting exams (both failing & passing) and what Mark mentioned about the meaning of recurring dreams. I also really liked hearing about the interviewer’s dreams and how they show how universal this ‘school of life’ is – it just really made me think again about something Mark wrote in Gazing into the Eternal, how “Spirituality is for people” and not just about the stories we read in books, but how it is applies to us all, every single individual and no one is different. It really feels like it just comes down to our choice in what we do with what is given to us – our free will.
A lot of helpful stuff in this 11 min video, and much to reflect upon – Thank you for the upload!
I agree Geraldine, how amazing we are all in the same school of life on this planet (and others too, after all!), going through the internal exams, having the same symbolic dreams, etc. I also loved the part where Mark explained how to understand the meaning of the “subjects” of the dream exams. For example in this case History – needing to look at your own “history” in life, and what you are not getting… I have always wondered what these different subjects meant, and how one can figure out what exactly to change in daily life to start passing a certain exam in the dreamworld. Like for example, what’s the difference between a Language (Russian, English, etc) and a Math for example? How do they tie in with the daily life?
Thank you very much for the upload, never heard this one before.
Another beautiful and strong talk for me too. Listening to how Mark highlights the importance of our dreams really gives me a boost since dreams have really been a big support and help for me and feel very grateful for this, and there were times I felt they were just the continuing of my life in the day.
Thank you deeply Lara for pasting this interview and also for sharing how Mark managed to give it although the difficulties that appeared, I couldn’t tell either.
Hearing a bit of the hostess’ dreams, as well as many others’ dreams in previous interviews, has been quite humbling actually. Obviously teachings in dreams are not exclusive to just people trying to actively explore astral travel and dreams :-) but everyone in the ‘school of life’, which is an amazing thing.
I feel very fortunate to have information which has allowed better interpretation of the meaning of my dreams. But still it is not always easy to understand a hundred percent what some things relate to, how it translates to my life. This can sometimes be a bit ‘frustrating’, where you’re shown something important and feel it is and urgent, you want to do something about it….. but you don’t know exactly what. That’s why I think the consistent study and exploration of dreams, writing dreams down, learning the symbols etc. is very important. And I feel that if we make the effort to investigate the meaning of what we’re being taught, then we can be helped further to understand it.
When realising that we’re given great guidance there, exactly that which we need, from genuine higher forces, and the astral and dreams are this connection— All of a sudden something like remembering or not remembering dreams can be seen as something very important.
Another great talk its amazing the discoveries that I have discovered about my self by looking into my dreams, but also I find some mornings I just cant piece together what the dreams means or even what really happened within my dream but still with a sense that something meaningful had happened, look forward to searching deeper
Ha funny Mark had to stretch over those boxes, anything to get the info out there ; ) Lucky he didnt put his back out : )
Every night I look forward to learn from my dreams since it’s such a precious place to get the help that I very much need for my spiritual development. Also, I’m very grateful and feel very blessed to have the techniques to verify spiritual knowledge, and to get help from Divine beings.
As mentioned in the talk I’ve have found that the efforts I put in during the day to better myself has improve my learning at night.
Another great talk, thank you.
When Mark came to do this interview he had been packing to go overseas for some time and his flight was the next day. Removalists had packed everything in boxes for transport so when Mark was about to do the interview he discovered the phone was buried under layers of immovable boxes. Fortunately they left enough space around the phone that Mark could reach down and pull up the cord on the handset. It would only stretch just above the level of the boxes, but it was not high enough for him to even sit up and hold the phone. He had to give the interview stretched across the top of a mountain of boxes.
Nice story :) Thank you for sharing it Lara!
Haha, I can just imagine that. Couldn’t tell from listening to the interview though, so job well done I would say. :-)
What an anecdote! That would have been quite stressful and very painful / uncomfortable – that’s a long time being stuck in such awkward position really.. Yet Mark just sounds so calm, relaxed and he speaks, explains and expand on many of these questions very straight forward, clearly and to the point, as if he has all the time in the world, and as if he is sitting comfortably in a plush chair…
Looking back, I’m sure it must be funny now but at the time, I can’t imagine how difficult it would have been.. Glad Mark was able to make it happen nonetheless – a lot of helpful info in this interview.
Thanks for sharing that story Lara. I think it’s a really good example of how when we are fully focussed on helping others spiritually, we will always find a way around whatever obstacles we may face. On the other hand, when our priorities are elsewhere, there will always be a myriad of excuses as to why we can’t do something.
As others have said, Mark’s knowledge on the subject also shines through. He gives some great insights into the significance of recurring dreams, along with some very practical tips to get started in exploring our own dream world, which are understandable to complete beginners.
Thanks for posting this interview Lara and to everyone who has been working on preparing the radio archives for YouTube. It’s great that this series of interviews is publicly available again, as each one contains some wonderful insights.
This is interesting Lara, thank you for sharing! :-) Its amazing what all sorts of obstacles can appear to try to prevent somebody to give a spiritual-type of interview. I really enjoyed this interview, especially how Mark explained how to understand certain symbolic dreams, and am really glad he didn’t get stopped by all those adversities!
Thank you for sharing this story Lara. It shows the Mark’s will to spread this precious knowledge to people.
From the interview it seems the journalist had observed enough important things about her dreams and Mark helped her answering with a practical and simple way. Some answers were also answers for my own dreams.
That’s so funny Lara – he sounds so incredibly relaxed and comfortable.
What a refreshing interview. It’s amazing how much depth of material can be discussed in just ~ 11 minutes. The examples of dreams and their possible interpretations were very insightful.
I’m feeling inspired to remember my dreams tonight!
Again very nice talk, taken very naturally, like it was prepared beforhand. I should be truy paying more attention to my dreams if I want to progress in my life. I also noticed that keeping the dream diary helps me to remember more. The only bad thing is that I have no idea what most of my dreams mean. Sometimes I use my intuition, sometimes dreams just appear seemingly out of nowhere during day when I am not sleeping with some kind of understanding. Such an important world and we are not even properly pay attention to it what a pity.
Thank you so much for sharing this knowledge, Mark and Lara! This is so true that our dreams are like mirror to our psyche.
In the physical world, it is not always easy to be truly objective and honest with ourselves and others, but in the astral plane, we can see not only the influences of the psyche within the material constraints and the social context, but the psyche itself.
Dreams show us our inner work, dreams teach us not what we want to see, but what we need to see. Dreams reveal us what we need to change.
I try to put efforts to understand my current dreams and all dreams from the start of my journal, and occasionally, going over the older dream journals. It is just incredible to have this Book of my Life in my hands – written by the very way I live my life…
Once again, thank you so much for all this information… I really wish to understand it in depth and act in the most beneficial way.
