Thanks for posting such an excellent talk. It’s good to be reminded of what’s required and what we stand to gain if we make the required effort. I realize, listening to that, that I’m not doing anywhere near enough to make any real progress and need to ramp up what I’m doing massively; and that seems daunting. But in all that it reminds me that there are far more important things than those that I tend to let concern me. It’s as if something pulls my head up from out of what I’m doing and says to me “look at this! What are you doing? Stop wasting your time with all this other stuff!” A good wake up call. Very much appreciated. Many thanks.
Thanks for posting this video. It is very helpful and inspiring.
While this talk is very inspiring and motivating, that we could have our Being rescue us from the poisonous state that we are in, I am also drawn to the message of whether enough people will make the effort to reach that, myself included.
I wonder what will it take to make the constant efforts, even if it is through suffering. Often I yearn for peace and moments of prayer which bring the spiritual work to life for me, without them I feel very much alone and weak. It seems I relate more with these ‘positive’ feelings then embracing difficulties and suffering for the purpose of learning. I do experience suffering, and I do learn a great deal, but I feel my mindset is not really targeting the harder parts of this work, but looks forward to the more peaceful parts. (Especially when I am not doing so well at the harder parts).
It makes we wonder how I can change my thinking and never even allow the suggestion that I am not interested in suffering/learning.
Thanks Mark. That’s a nice bit of pick me up to know how things can change with the incarnation of the Being & the Christ. A super miracle indeed!
Thank you very much Belsebuub. as your talk offers hope towards attainment of true peace.
Thank you very much Belsebuub for posting this video. It is powerful and gives a real incentive to apply this work correctly and to face whatever hardships we need in order to reach permanent peace.
One part in particular really stood out to me: “The essence knows what it really wants. It knows that it wants the Christ; it knows that it wants liberation”.
Thank you for sharing that video, it contains some very valuable insights.
Thanks Mark, this video is really encouraging, it makes the path seem very possible.
That point about not knowing what it’s like until you’re out of it a bit really resonates with me. Just going through exactly what you described soon after I found out about this work and then started practising seriously, and then falling back, it was a big shock and I couldn’t believe I couldn’t see and/or feel how low things really were before. It’s really unfortunate that we have the potential for something so much better, and yet, pretty much all of humanity doesn’t do anything about it simply through not knowing reality of the situation and that it could change. Then there’s the small amount that do know about it but have to learn to sacrifice and make the efforts properly, which is a whole other difficult thing to do! But at least the opportunity is there…
This is very inspiring! It gives me hope and cause to keep fighting. Thank you for this Mark!
Thank you very much for posting this video, it brought back the inspiring atmosphere of that retreat. I still remember what you said at that time about the importance of voluntary suffering. Easier said than done though :-(. As you said, its natural for us to avoid it, it seems to be a part of a “program” to shut ourselves from suffering and avoid looking into what is hurting us. It feels like a bitter medicine that does not taste very well, so we avoid swallowing it.
Being able to think while being aware sounds too good to be true, and useful for sure. :-)
Thank you so much. I feel I have a lot to reflect upon. Just watching this video was such a help for me, it gave me strength.
Thankyou Mark for the video. kind regards
Thank you very much for the video, the talk has provided a subtle but much needed boost to inner spiritual yearning.
I appreciate these videos and posts you’ve put on here. They continue to be a really great resource.
Thank you very much Mark – I really appreciate your simple and humble explanations of profound esoteric things, the things that are truly important in life.
Fantastic video, thank you.
Many Thanks!
