This radio talk just made me remember an experience I had several years ago where I was at a friend’s place, but there was something odd with their furniture. It did not make sense, that’s when I realized then that maybe I was dreaming.. Everything felt so real though, so I checked where I was by pulling the finger and see if it stretched, but it did not. However, when I looked up, everything around had just frozen in time so to speak, like my friends. It was like the Matrix, where you realize what you see is not the reality, and the scene just faded away, and I was in my home. I was lucid though so I was able to do a bit of exploring but then I woke up shortly thereafter.
What I really got from that experience, was to see how dreams are not actually ‘real’ but created by the mind and make like a mini movie around me. And it was like the woman who called and described her experience, you know it’s so real and there is something special about the understanding you get from an experience that stays with you, even years afterwards.

Although I’ve on occassions verified that things from over there also check out here, that is not what proved that the astral dimension is real for me. Rather it was in being there, having such an astral experience, conscious and perceiving, that you just know it’s real!
It is not easy, but it’s amazing when you can poke through the dream images and perceive the real things there, even if it’s just as simple as walking down the steps in your house, walking through the living room. This can be so amazing.

The astral plane is a very special place for me and I practice it every night. Ever since I managed to prove that I’m able to astral project I’ve used it to search for spiritual information. Today I have not a single doubt that it’s a real place and anyone can prove that it’s real, that is, if they make an effort using the easy to understand techniques from Belsebuub.
I’ve found that it requires a lot of practice but the rewards that you can gain are so worth it.
I was once very skeptical like the gentleman on the radio talk, but I’m so glad that I stuck with it.

Funny bunch of radio hosts. But their curiosisties still allowed Mark to give some good info and clarifications on the subject, which is great. Relevant as well that one of the hosts had his own sort of ‘involuntary’ out-of-body experience, plus the girl calling in to give her personal account also added to the whole story.
Quite cool still to hear this subject discussed live on the radio. Like the girl who called in, I think many people have had their own experience of one kind or another but don’t know what it was and sort of keep it quiet. Public radio shows like this must’ve been a great way for people to remember those experiences and to possibly open the way for them to explore them.
Very unfortunate that those courses are no longer running, but great to have the material still available in the Astral Codex book.
Ah yes, this is the famous “whats up dude” one, you know immediately you’ve arrived to the U.S. after such a start, don’t you? :-D
